Today was a great day. Everyone was well rested from our day off and ready to get back on the road. The weather was great, warm and sunny with a mild tailwind all day. We started our ride by working our out of the city of Niagara Falls and into the country side of New York. The ride trough the city was pretty rough having to ride on bad roads with heavy traffic and through several areas of road construction. When we got out of the city, we road on country roads that were in good shape with good shoulders and little traffic. We road through green rolling hills with heavy areas of woodland and small rural neighborhoods, which turned into farm land with corn fields and some other crops. The route was fairly flat with a few small hills to go over, with the tailwind everyone made good time and I got into our next hotel around 1:30.
Tomorrow we have a 94 mile ride to Liverpool, NY and we ride next to the Erie Canal on the Canalway Trail. It should be a nice ride, but there is a good chance that it will rain on us tomorrow.
